MMJ Real Estate Perth, is pleased to announce long time employees Mr Chris Geers and Mr Simon Hannam have become equity partners.

Mr Geers, currently Director of Valuations, has been with MMJ close to 14 years having joined as a cadet valuer.  Mr Geers is a Certified Practising Valuer and Registered Sales Representative. He has significant experience across many sectors including commercial, industrial and land development, and is widely regarded as Perth’s leading valuer of child care facilities. Mr Geers’ cross-functional skills and experience (in sales and valuations) enable him to provide valuable, up to date market intelligence on what buyers and sellers are thinking.

According to MMJ Director Brad Carey, “Chris is a very lateral thinker and works hard on client relationships.

Whilst he has a great valuation background, Chris offers MMJ clients broader solutions for their property assets.

In what continues to be tough market conditions, high calibre individuals like Chris are highly sought after by the property market,” Mr Carey said.

Director of Facilities and Building Management, Simon Hannam, is the face of MMJ’s extensive portfolio of commercial strata assets. Simon is responsible for the day to day facilities and building management of many substantial strata office buildings including 12, 41 and 160 St George’s Tce, 33 Barrack Street, the Gledden Building in Hay Street Mall, 197 and 251 Adelaide Tce, to mention a few.

Mr Hannam has been MMJ Managing Director, Mr David Wall’s ‘right hand man’ for over seven years. Mr Wall said Simon goes beyond the call of duty with the service he provides his building owners and occupants.

“Simon is NABERS qualified, is well regarded for his intimate working knowledge of building services and has great cost control solutions, helping to keep costs down for building owners and occupants. Having a facilities management shareholder is a very strategic decision by MMJ, and is possibly a first for commercial firms in the Perth CBD,” he said.

Mr Geers and Mr Hannam said “we look forward to driving the future growth of the business with the existing MMJ partners and continuing to work alongside their clients to protect, maintain and maximise their property investments.”
